A nigger in the White House

The other day I went down to the little local store here to pick up some milk and bread. While waiting at the counter to check out I heard a few of the people in there talking about the election. Right off it was apparent that the owner of the store was a Republican and that she was 100% behind McCain. Her first remark was : “It seems to me that it’s always the Democrats that get us into jams, then the Republicans are the ones that come and get us back out of them”.

Ok, so she has been living in a cave for the past eight years and hasn’t seen the damage done by the Bush administration. I guess I can forgive her for that.

The next comment came from a lady that was a Democrat and didn’t like Bush at all, but I’m not so sure I can forgive her remark. What she said was: “I was all for Hillary to win the nomination, but now that Obama has won the primaries and will be the nominee I’ll be voting for McCain, he seems to be honest and at least he’s not a nigger”.

Not a nigger. Now there’s something I’d never thought of before. Let’s elect a president based on his color not his qualifications. She then went on to say that she had seen what happens when niggers become the majority somewhere and she didn’t like it.

Another person in there just happened to be a mailman and he was an Obama supporter. But again, his choice was based on his dislike for Bush, McCain and the Republican Party, and even more importantly, his belief  that women had no place in politics.

Why not? If we can base our choices on color, why not also base our choices on sex?

Actually, I sorta did the same thing myself. I was behind Hillary all the way for this election, and part of my reason for backing her was sex. We’ve all seen the damage that men can do. Men tend to be power hungry with a need to prove they are better and stronger than everyone else, women don’t seem to have those needs so I supported Hillary on the hopes that perhaps a woman would be more responsible and base her decisions on the country’s needs and not her own quest for power.

Well, she didn’t make it and because she didn’t make it I am starting to see and hear about thousands of voters who supported Hillary and are now changing over to vote for McCain because they don’t want a black man in the White House. Many say they will vote Republican even if Obama chooses her as his running mate just because they don’t want a black president.

Despite the giant lead that the Democrats have held over the Republicans in the popular votes lately I am now starting to be concerned that maybe we will end up with McCain as our new president and we will continue down the path that we have been put on by the Bush administration. Quite frankly, that scares the hell out of me.

Don’t you think it’s about time we do away with petty concerns like race and start paying attention to what would be best for our country, not what would satisfy our own bigoted misconceptions of people based on race, sex or religion? I was backing Hillary in the primaries, but now that she has dropped out I will support Obama just as strongly as I have Hillary. I have another site that I have been using for the past several months for posting articles on science and a couple other subjects. I am now going to change the purpose of that site in order to push the envelope for Obama to as many people as I can possibly reach. We have a choice to make here and it’s a choice that will affect all Americans. Let’s not blow it by letting a man’s color influence our decisions. Do we want to see changes made in this country, or do we want to continue on the path set for us by the Bush/Cheney team? The answer to that question is obvious, too bad so many of us are too colorblinded to see it.

A nigger in the White House?

It could just possibly be the best thing this country has had in a very long time. When I look at him, I don’t see a nigger, I see a man, a man who could get us all pointed back in the right direction, don’t let his color prevent us from having that opportunity.

  1. Hey, EB, I finally figured out how to do this, now all I need to do is figure out how to put in pictures and embed links and I’ll almost be an expert, lol.

  2. How about 95% of blacks voting for Obama cause of the color of his skin? I have news for you, Obama is not only black, he’s also white! But Obama has to many friends like Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers and don’t forget The leader of the Nation of Islam! Enough said?

Blog Patrol Says: Just a small hint for you, when the topic is politics, you can never post one short paragraph and end it with “Enough said”. It would take an entire book and then some before there can really be “enough said”.

    • CORRECT HE IS THE WORST FUCKING TERRORIST EVER AND DID YOU GET THE FREE HEALTH CARE YET CAUSE I DIDNT

    • YEA, out of the 95% of the niggers who voted for the current fuck, only 10 missed work. WAKE UP AMERICA BEFORE THIS STINKIN NIGGER DESTROYS OUR COUNTRY…………..

      • WAKE UP AMERICA – Bill needs your help! Years of staring at a swastika and fucking his cousin have messed with his brain. Only you can drag him out of his trailer and into the 21st century!

    • yea that’s true barry scammed the the blacks and now look whats going on

  3. Nice blogg. I would have titled it ‘A person with a lot of melanin pigment in the skin in the Colorless House’. It is hard to look past superficial things for anyone immersed in this material world whether it be the appearance, gender,or color of a person. Since it is part of our survival instinct to generalize (man = power hungry) or (person with alot of melanin pigment in their skin = lousy leader) your observations are not surprising. Both Hillary and Obama are not easy to catergorize. In my opinion Hillary doesn’t really fit my image of a typical woman (if there is such a thing) and Obama’s greatest assest is his diverse multi-cultural background which is simply not typical.

  4. goodtimepolitics,

Of course it works both ways. There will be a lot of black people voting for Obama because he is black. Racism is alive and well in the United States. And everyone knows he is multiracial, but most people don’t think of him that way because he “looks” like a black man.
He has also severed all ties with Mr. Wright because of his disagreement with the good pastors rants on race and his blatant hatred for America.
Myself, I have several friends whose political views are totally opposite of mine. If you want to judge someone just because of who he talks to that’s your business, myself I prefer to see people as who they are, not who their friends are.
And if you would prefer to listen to propaganda and lies about the candidates, that’s your choice also, myself, I don’t go with information posted on the web, after all the web is the liars playground.

  5. thanks kameswaran, and don’t forget that “other” little thing with women, as George Carlin once said: “If we had a woman for president we would never go to war, just every 28 days there would be some real intense negotiations”.

  6. But of course we wouldn’t have to worry about that one with Hillary, at her age I’m sure her minnow died a long time ago.

  7. kameswaran, just let me add here that you are right about the stereotyping men as power hungry, not all men are power hungry but many are and I blame that on the age old disease called penis envy. Men tend to want to prove to the world that “My dick’s bigger than yours” and that extends on out into other areas like “My missile’s (a phallus symbol if I ever seen one) bigger than yours”.
I will never be power hungry because I have a little bitty dick and I know it, so to try and prove it’s bigger than someone else’s would just be embarassing.

  8. FYI, Arn, you can edit your own posts as an admin.

Blog Patrol Says: Thanks EB, I figured that out, after you put me in the admin spot all the posts and comments now have an “edit this” link in them.
Ednose: Yeah, you’ll get use to the admin privileges soon enough. I’m still learning how to use all of them.

  9. Check it out folks, I posted four comments on the Calvinists for Conservatism site, and they banned me already. :-D

  10. Goodtime, stop spreading ‘crap’ — you know that Obama does NOT have a relationship with Farrakhan. When 95% of Irish Catholics voted for JFK were they considered racist? No, they were showing pride. Pride, the same thing blacks folks are doing here. Remember blacks were not behind Obama at first but when they realized that he was better for America they stood
behind him. I am sure you have pride is something(s)?

Arn, this is quite an audacious title. The content was insightful and sad at the same time. It amazes me that ‘Christians’ (many of these people who loathe blacks consider themselves to be deeply religious Christians) prefer to a man with no kinship or relationship with Jesus Christ to a man that is born again just because of the color of his skin.

I wonder if racists only have white dogs — why limit themselves to being prejudice only against black people? Why not brown eggs, brown dogs, black dogs, squirrels, etc.?

    Paulette
    http://www.letustalk.wordpress.com

  11. Thank you Paulette. I’m sure you realise the title was for a reason. This is a very racist country we live in regardless how much we try to show that it isn’t. The mere fact that there are discrimination laws prove that. If we were really enlightened and non-prejudice, as we claim to be, discrimination laws would not be needed. Using words like nigger in the title draws attention to the post and to the fact of the bigotry that runs through every part of this country. I do hope by the time you finished reading it you did realise that I am not prejudice myself, but I am very tired of all of the racial slurs I’ve been hearing throughout this campaign.

  12. Nice blog. Very good post.

  13. How about 95% of blacks voting for Obama cause of the color of his skin?

Have you any proof? No? Then shut up.

I have news for you, Obama is not only black, he’s also white! But Obama has to many friends like Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers and don’t forget The leader of the Nation of Islam! Enough said?

Hey, let’s not forget that McCain has had his own sketchy connections. Keating Five, anyone?

I wonder if racists only have white dogs — why limit themselves to being prejudice only against black people? Why not brown eggs, brown dogs, black dogs, squirrels, etc.?

It’s not a matter of sheer hatred to most, but instead a desire to wield power over. Hence the old Minstrel shows and blackface. They want anyone of color to be regarded as lesser-than– to be on the same level as any animal.

  14. “I wonder if racists only have white dogs — why limit themselves to being prejudice only against black people?”
That’s a little silly, if you ask me. White supremacists aren’t fixated on the color, it’s the meaning behind the color. They see white people as the best, but regard other colors and creeds as inferior. If a brown-colored dog was the best kind of dog, they’d want brown dogs, and so on. They’re concerned with superiority, not color.

  15. Where I live, the “every 28 days…” reasoning is actually near the top of the list for why people don’t want a woman president. I actually know women who don’t think a woman should be president. The other people just think that Obama’s a terrorist. They’ll vote for McCain because he’s not a democrat. It doesn’t matter what any of them are running for. In the end, not only is it sex, race, religion…it’s political parties. And it’s blind. Can we sum it up in “political racism?”

Eh? I wonder if being in Alabama makes that worse…

  16. “Eh? I wonder if being in Alabama makes that worse…”

That depends on whether or not you are your own grandpa, (or in your case, your own grandma,,,lol)

  17. Lol.

  18. By the way, yesterday that wonderful Republican, McCain went after the Hillary supporters by promising them that if he became president there would be more women in government positions than ever before.
Wonder how he plans to do that since most positions are supposed to voted on by the people, not that the people wouldn’t vote for qualified women just as they would qualified men, but what makes him think he can actually PROMISE that they will get into office. And his stand has always been the normal Republican belief that women belonged in the home (barefoot and pregnant), now he thinks he can get their vote by lying to them. I hope there are enough women smart enough to see through his lies because if he gets enough of the former Hillary supporters he’ll win the election. Hmmmm, perhaps we should do our next post aimed at exposing his new strategy for what it is, bald faced (and bald head, lol) lies to sucker the women over to his side.
However, Obama has that charismatic charm reminiscent of JFK that got the women voters back in the sixties, perhaps that charm will work on today’s women as well. Now if we can just get them to see past his color.

  19. Wow, I just checked out our spam folder. Where do these idiots get the idea that they can use us to advertise their bullshit sites? Let it be known that we are not here to supply free advertising to insurance companies, gambling sites or ANY other sites. We are here to discuss our thoughts on politics, religion and life in general, if you want to advertise, do it on your own sites not ours.
And yes, I deleted them all and will continue to do so.

  20. Of course our readers are still welcome to post links to sites that are relevant to the subject being discussed or to things that others may find interesting or amusing, but keep the advertising where it belongs, up your asses.

  21. Wow, I missed that. Other than promising things he can’t…he really seems to have no plan. And hasn’t he admitted before that he knows little about the economy? (could be mistaken…it’s been more than a minute)

I need to start checking up more on the two of them. Shouldn’t be hard. :)

  22. promising them that if he became president there would be more women in government positions than ever before.

    Which position…..under a desk?

  23. Isn’t anyone concerned about how Obama and crew might redecorate the White House? Granted, it is a little stiff with it’s 18th century touches, but tinting the windows and droppin a hot tub up in the Oval Office? 22″ rims parked outside the front door? The loudest beats in the hood are comin from the president’s motorcade, fronted by black revolutionaries in red green and yellow revolutionary-jumpsuits?

Portraits of Washington and the like replaced by zebra skins and spears? The banquet kitchen remodeled into a Churches Chicken outlet, and a bus stop placed at the backdoor? Marines replaced by white-hos and challenged youth smiling shiney-grillz? What’s the password?

What up? Will Barrack paint it black? Word.

Blog Patrol Says: Leave the Rolling Stones out of this, paint it black was a great song. And in case you haven’t seen all of the warnings: Crack kills, so I suggest you smoke a little less from now on.

  24. @23
Grow up, Jasper…..you have been watching MTV for too long.

  25. Jasper: wow. Go get some fresh air.

  26. I think (/hope) that that joker Jasper was doing just that, joking. There WAY too many stero-typed MTV references made there for them to be serious, no? From here in Melbourne, Australia, we are following the election with (incredibly well-sustained) interest. I personally believe that the longer this election process goes the better chance McCain has…
On the subject of black/white power, I live through the guise of the (rather fake) world of sports: Tiger and MJ have lived at the top of their sports, and I’d hardly call those worlds ‘worser off’ because of those reigns? I think Obama would be great.

  27. Of course Jasper was joking. He’s got troll-signs all over his post.

  28. Why not elect Obama president…..he’ll be moving back ino government housing

Blog Patrol Says: We do welcome all comments, no matter how senseless they are.

  29. Very provocative and interesting post.

  30. Cool music, African Origins…..I sent you a request to add me on myspace.

  31. Thanks a lot MoxoM what is your myspace name?

  32. @31
    Reswati

  33. I agree with Moxom on AO’s music, but I found his story there to be much more interesting. His parents were right in not letting him ever forget where he came from. Too many people raise their children here and never even let them know about their origins.
By the way Moxom, the music fest and camp trip was great, got a bunch of pics uploaded to myspace, check them out sometime.

  34. Thank you Arn. I really enjoy reading this post. Take care.

  35. Come on now. This guy Obama has polarized a nation. Step back and ask Why? Look at history in the US. How many millions have migrated to this country and made good for themselves though hard work, focus and determination? Think bak to Chinese, Japanese, Irish, Italians, Poles even Vietnamese. People actively at war with the US 30 years ago are now successful members of our wonderful country. Why can’t American Blacks learn to assimilate? Because they want everything for doing nothing. They do not even bother to raise their own children for gods sake!

Yes, Obama has polarized this counrty by reminding the world what a scourge the US Black has become.

  36. “Why can’t American Blacks learn to assimilate? Because they want everything for doing nothing.”

Go complain to Oprah, Herr Gestaposturmbannferkel.

  37. The black blood that powers the hatred of his own white saviors,is only to show the reality that race, color, smell, financial stanbility, and personality are just as important as any other feature that may or may not be acceptable to another color. Naggers, at least, stick together when against that of another color. Whitey, is more often than not, feeling so goddamn guilty for doing nothing wrong, that we can`t seem to agree, or admit that the nagger will be what you want to believe to be true today, but a reality check could start a war that will sepperate the races for eternity, as they once were, as we were meant to be, a true test of self respect, proud to be who you are. One color will win this, final race war. One will stay, the other must go.

  38. Denny, I’m not sure exactly what it is that you are smoking, but I think you should lay off it for awhile and try to regain some of your lost brain cells.

  39. Texas Beach, I tried to think of something to say to you that would sink in, but face it, you’re a bigot, what else can I say?

  40. It is not that he is black that bothers me, it is the fact that he(Obama) likes rap music and has a favorite rapper. He has no taste which to me shows a lack of judgment.
Higher taxes, bad judgment, bad affiliations, Marxist wife, slumlord friends, no experience, no qualifications. have we not learned anything from the Bush administration

    we need a qualified candidate
    how about Biden for president

  41. @ rosco: Are you making decisions based on the type of music a candidate prefers??? What will be next — the color of his socks??!! That doesn’t make Any sense!

About Biden: A few months back, when talking to a young Indian-American man, Sen. Biden jokes about how Indian-Americans are the fastest growing immigrant group in Delaware, and says, “You CANNOT go into a 7-11 or a Dunkin Donuts without an Indian accent.”

When asked about it, he flubs that what he meant was that there “has been a vibrant Indian-American community in Delaware for decades…”

What he said about Barack Obama was also really uncalled for:- “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American — who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy, … I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

Even Hilary disillusioned me when she made this quip about Mahatma Gandhi owning a gas station in St. Louis:

Personally, I would be thrilled if Obama were to be our next president! That he’s black is great – this is the 21st century, its high time people started to accept a person as an individual and not as part of a color-coded race! He is open-minded, diverse, has amazing ideas for our country, and always stresses the positive. He comes across as genuine and sincere, which is rare in a politician. He’s also articulate – though that is not a quality required in a presidential candidate, it’s great to know we won’t have a president who’ll be making up silly new words or one who puts his foot in it every time he opens his mouth. AND…he does not make insensitive jokes!

However… the only thing I’m afraid of is that he’ll be influenced by the prevalent political atmosphere and start behaving like a typical politician today. We American people are so very desperate for change and for the economy to improve; and we know that McCain is not the guy to do it…! But will Obama be able to cut through all the political crap and accomplish what he needs to? I want him to win so much but am also concerned that he’ll be steamrollered.

  42. I would not vote for the Ni@@er even if McCain were on crack. McCain will win. People like me will never let a Ni@@er in the White house. I can’t wait until the Ni@@er is killed. Have a nice day!!

  43. Bob, people like you will never let a nigger in the White House? People like you can’t do anything about it, fortunately for the rest of us there aren’t that many people like you left. You’re just a stupid bigot, something that this country could do without.

  44. The Democrats have given the election to McCain by nominating a black man. America is a racist nation and will never elect a black man or woman for that matter. The election is farce anyway. President do not run the country, corporations do. How come we don’t vote for our favorite corporation?

    • Well, Richard Neva, it’s now April 2010 and Obama has been in the Whitehouse for 15 months, and is doing a fine job. McCain is about to be ushered out of the Senate due to his own incompetence, and Hillary is Sec. of State!
That’s three strikes, Ricky, and you’re out! Time to pick another topic, and his time, try one you actually know something about.

  45. Go ahead an elect Obama, he wants to raise your taxes, cut defense spending. Oh, he’s only going to raise taxes on the rich. When a lot of them own business. When you raise there taxes, things will cost more for you. Maybe if he cuts defense, we can throw rocks at our ememy. I know some will say we have enough A– BOMBS and so on. If we stand still, other counties will have something better. If you were in the old west, and you had a show down with someone in the street. Would you want to face him with a 44 or a 22. Look both sides are crooks. Black for the most part, are going to vote for black people. Most likely in this election it will be 92 — 98 % for Obama. There not voting for what he thinks he can do but, because he is black. And people today want everything for nothing. Meaning they don’t have to work for it. Just give it to me. A government strong enough to give you everything, is strong enough to take it all away from you.

  46. Ron, there are just so many things wrong with your comment that I really don’t know how to respond to it. You are obviously very misinformed on Obama and on politics in general. My guess would be that your main news source is FOXNEWS, you really need to expand your sources to include non-propogandic broadcasts as well.

  47. Richard, unfortunately, you may be right, but I’m still holding on to the hope that enough of us are able to see beyond race and to the real people behind the faces. You can find good people encased in bodies of every color and to make an important decision such as this based only on color would set us back two hundred years to when we enslaved others based on their color.
Anyway, nice wording, you very effectively left your own stand on the issue of race completely out of your comment, I’d like to hear where you stand yourself on the idea of voting for a black man.
And the country is only run by corporations when we have people in office that can be bought by them. Right now we are run by oil companies, but if another business is able to buy our next administration, oil will fall to the background and we’ll be run by the new business. If, however, we elect someone who can’t be bought, our country can once again be run by us, the voters and taxpayers.

  48. No,not misinformed. JMO.Has that gone out of style. ARN. The person that said ” A government strong enough to give you everything, is strong enough to take it all away. That, not foxs news. That’s Thomas Jefferson, he didn’t watch foxs news. Thanks for the response,

  49. Ron, I wasn’t referring to the quote from Jefferson, I knew where that came from, I was referring to your ideas about Obama’s politics, it’s the kind of thinking that people get from watching propogandic broadcasts like foxnews, higher taxes on the rich wouldn’t make things cost more, raising prices to try and cover higher taxes wouldn’t work and any halfway intelligent businessman knows that. You raise the prices and your taxes just go up more to match it, the only way to keep the taxes from going higher is to maintain your retail prices in a lower bracket.
You were right on one point, many blacks will vote for Obama because he is black, however, many more white people will vote for him because both McCain and Palin are outright liars, just watch their speeches then compare what they say to the official records, almost everything both of them has said has been proved false by their own records. I took Palin’s entire speech from the RNC and looked up the incidents she mentioned one by one and according to the official records she did almost the exact opposite of what she said she did in her speech. If they will lie that blantantly about their past, there is no way I’ll trust them to be honest with our futures.

  50. On the contrary. Obama is a bad choice for president NOT because he is black, but BECAUSE he is a nigger. Most people know the difference.

  51. As I stated before, all comments are welcome no matter how idiotic, but racism in any form is not respected in anyone, and calling someone a nigger regardless of your own personal meaning for the word is still a form of racism. Your weak division of blacks into “blacks and niggers” is just a closet for you to hide your bigotry in, Wonder what else you may be hiding in that closet.

  52. ARN, I respect you view on things. I do watch and read other news. I just don’t want the next president, cutting our defense. We have to stay strong. Been in the army myself, makes me upset that someone running for President would want to cut our defense. If we become weak as a nation, all other issue will not matter. When we went into WWII we were not really. WWII was before my time, but case in point we have to be ready or we can kiss the good old USA goodbye. Thanks, have a great day,and remember the people of 911 today.

  53. Ron, thanks for that comment, and for delivering it in an honest manner. Opposing opinions are so much better when they are truthful and without the insults and bigotry so many other people use in their comments (see ricko above). I myself am not in favor of cutting our military budget, but I also don’t want that budget in the hands of McCain and Palin. McCain is a Bush puppet (“I have voted with the President over 90% of the time” a quote from one of his speeches) and Palin is a coddled little girl placed into the race in an effort to garner the female and horndog votes, her government experience is little more than a list of failures, all of which she openly lied about in her speech at the RNC. Basically she is no more than a BimboBush who will have all of the nuclear arsenal codes if elected as VP.
On the other hand, Obama’s running mate is Biden, who is the head of our foriegn relations committee and has supported the appropriations for funding the Iraq conflict, his fight with Bush on military spending was just to let Bush know that we, the people needed to be levelled with on the real cost of the war, but Bush continued to lie to us anyway. As VP I think he would continue with his support for our military, and in most administrations it’s the VP not the president who has the stongest voice in military spending.
I was in the Army myself, although that was probably before your time too, and I believe in a stong military, but I believe even more in listening to the wishes of those who the military protects, our citizens.

  54. Arn, do you know how to delete posts? Me and Dio are very negligent admins, so site maintenance is yours, since you’re just about the only writer. I trimmed off a few troll posts for you, and i can show you how to delete posts if you don’t know how.

  55. Ahh, so that’s what happened to Ricko. Yes I know how to delete them, but since you started this site I figured I would leave it to you to decide whether or not to let those kind of comments stay, if you’re going to leave that up to me then I’ll just start by giving them a warning first, then deleting if they try to continue. You named this site blogs 4 common sense, so I think it should be kept that way from both sides of every arguement, people should be welcome to disagree all they like, and to post their disagreement, but in a sensible manner. Insults and bigotry doesn’t fit my definition of sensible. (although sometimes it can be fun when dealing with folks like Corker, etc.)

  56. Well your right and your wrong. It doesn’t really matter who is in the White House unless the person in the White House really tries to change the way business is and has been done. If he/she does that their life would be short lived Economics are more important then a strong military (you can’t but bullets if you have no money) and when you have a war you loose no matter who you think won the war If our next president does not have a firm grasp on world economic concepts we are in a world of hurt. I love, Honor, and respect all of our solders who have fought for our freedoms but right now we do not need a good solder running this government. I am a republican and before this campaign I had the utmost respect for John. Seems like the straight talk express got derailed and there was no need for that because America is going to keep the White House White John didn’t need to put us all in jeopardy by putting that lady so close to “the button” she has a record of being more power hungry then women are given credit for and I fear for John’s life if she is his number two we need to watch the dollar not the bullet my fellow Americans

“Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who writes the laws.”
    Mayer Amschel Rothschild, 1790

  57. Black people are more racist in this country than the whites. All of the blacks are voting for Obama (race not an issue even when Hillary was in the spin?). Blacks can say whatever they want in this country and even call you a cracker and well it’s okay because who cares….but just try calling them a nigger….all hell breaks loose. On top of that, where is the democracy or freedom of speech if you say anything remotely unconventional you are pegged a racist and you have to apologize. Look at Geraldine Ferraro. Why did she have to apologize? She said the truth and you should be able to say the truth and what you think and feel without any problem even if the other person does not like it as long as you are polite and without insults. I definitely believe that we are all human beings and should all be treated well and fairly but this country is over 65% white anglo saxon which equals the majority. And so this being said, I do not want a person of another race as head of my country. Would a white be head of Japan? No, never and so forth. Please no more bull on the melting pot of people that settled this country. The melting pot consisted of europeans of different european nations and all were white. Once you lose your basic traditions and structure you are lost. Realistically, it does not look good for a black to be president of the US. This is not seen as good throughout the world (only in America). People see America as losing their credibility and power. If this guy is elected you can be sure that in the eyes of the world we are headed by a black does not look good at all!!! think whatever you want but you will never see a black, asian, multiracial person being President of Italy, France, Spain, Germany or any of the G7 powers. their hold their traditions and their values and provide other races to enjoy those same rights but not at the presidency and this is correct. I am sorry but this is reality. Black people in America are so (in majority) mean, impolite, lazy and so forth that if they have a black president their arrogance will even be incremented. Just think how many blacks are employed by the government. When I worked for the government and had to get a job done I did it even if it was not in my exact job description just because it had to be done and you have to be flexible but no the blacks they say: I ain’t doing that it;s not in my job description etc., and have a chip on their shoulders. I will tell you that every year our level of education decreases just so black children can meet the under basic level to be passed on to another grade which means that the basic levels are lowered for all children and this results in poor education for the masses. Most welfare and taxes that we pay go to support the majority of blacks on welfare (check the statistics) blacks in prison are at a much greater % than any other race. Well I can go on forever but respectfully; this is my country and you are welcome to live here and progress but as i said not the presidency.

  58. Yes Christina, you obviously could go on forever, but thank you for not doing so. Racism is alive and well in this country and you are proof of that. But, you are wrong about the world, other countries do not judge each other on the basis of the color of their leaders, it’s only the bigots that do that, and most of those are right here in America. I happen to see hardworking, honest black people just about everywhere I go, just as I also see lazy, dishonest white people living on welfare and committing crimes. Crime and laziness are universal, they don’t adhere to any rules based on color. Sure there is a large percentage of blacks in prison, but for many years, (and even today in many places) blacks were targeted by law enforcement agencies as undesireables. Do you have any idea how many innocent blacks have been sent to prison by white juries who disregarded the evidence that could cast doubt on the case because they just sat down and looked at the defendant and said to themselves, “oh yeah, that nigger did it”.
If you prefer to support war mongers and greedy wildlife murderers (not mention blatant liars, which has been verified by all of the news networks including FOX) just because the other candidate isn’t white, that’s your business, but I really do feel sorry for you. Whether you realize it or not, with McCain and Palin in the Whitehouse, world war three would only be a few months away. And you can’t have a reasonable arguement against that fact, they have both been clear on that point, they want more wars, McCain has repeated it several times “there will be more wars” and Palin has shown a desire to go to war with both Russia and Pakistan (Pakistan is our ally).
If you want to live under martial law (see information on NSPD51 and HSPD20) or see a large percentage of our own citizens put into concentration camps (see information on H.R.1955) then by all means vote for McCain, because that’s where his election would take us.

  59. @christina
wow. I had forgotten that there were people like you. thanks for the cold splash of ice water on this slightly warm afternoon. christina, as if you actually will venture back here to read this, did you know that ONLY IN AMERICA, is a person considered black if s/he is 1/2, or 1/4, or 1/8 black? Did you know that up until the mid-20th century, in Louisiana as recently as the 1960s the One Drop Rule dictated that if a non-white ancestor could be found in your lineage ANYWHERE no matter how far back, you were black. What WOULD you do if you found out there was a single black ancestor, say oh, 5, 6, 7 generations back?

  60. Thanks, Swineprincess, you just reminded me of one of the funniest movies ever, “Blazing Saddles”, when Cleavon Little said “excuse me, but you said, Nig-gers, well, to tell you a little family secret, my grandmother was Dutch”.

  61. heheheheh! love that movie… “Schvartza! They darker than we are!”

  62. You know, I just remembered an incident from the late 1980s… I worked with a woman from The Bahamas. She was very dark. That year her cousin was Miss The Bahamas (that really looks odd to type “Miss THE Bahamas… hmmmm) anyway, she was at a Miss Universe watching party (sheesh why would an almost-phd in biology go to a Miss Universe watching party!) anyway, she said to the general assembly there that Miss Bahamas was her cousin and everyone was breathlessly waiting until the young lady came out and YOU GUESSED IT… she was damn near white! (to use the rather ugly vernacular of the American South) Thing was, probably 80% of the people at this party was black. She said it caused a shit-storm of monumental proportions into which she couldn’t wedge a word. She told me (in that lovely Bahamian lilt) “You Americans! So concerned with color. In my family, we are a rainbow! No one cares!”

  63. What gets me is that it is OK for black people to say I am voting for Obama because he is black but it’s racist when white people say I’m voting for McCain because he is white?
First of all he is black but that is not the reason I would not vote for him, the reason I won’t is because we are at war with radical Muslims and when Obama writes in a book “If the political winds begin to change I will stand with my Muslim brothers” I cannot allow myself to turn my back on my country and allow a person like this become my commander in chief. I want a president who when he takes office and swears to protect this country from enemies both foreign and domestic I want him to do just that and not appease them. I cannot nor will I vote for someone who does not have the best interest of this country at heart.

  64. obama is nothing but a little black con man,and should save this country by going back to crack maybe we will all luck out and he will overdose along with his nappy wife. hey obamarama you cant fool all of the people all of the time(sound familiar

  65. Yikes,Jed….try to behave a bit more sane and cultivated…..you call other people names and sound like the last caveman on earth.

  66. Arn, if you don’t want all these vile racists pouring in to your website, I’d suggest getting rid of the ‘nigger’ tag. Keep the post name, but get rid of the tag.

Racists: Blacks look bad because of socio-economic status, not to mention the fact that they were generally denied jobs until the 70s, and by that time, several poor blacks had been swallowed into gangs. It has NOTHING to do with race, and anyone who thinks it does really shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

  67. On second thought, you can see that several posters (i.e. Randy) are trying to hide their racism, but the fact that they *probably* found this website by the ‘niggers’ tag should clue you in (unless this post is linked to elsewhere).

BTW, I found this website by following Elephant Bones’ link from the hilarious satire ‘Calvinists 4 Conservatism’. It took me a while to figure out that it was a joke; this just goes to show how insane the neoconservatives, Religious Right, and corporate hacks are. It’s fooled a lot of other people, too; maybe you should direct some of these morons there…

  68. Doubt(hell)fire, so you have had the pleasure of reading some of Bob Corker’s (now Ixion) rambling bull about the flat earth and all of those other wonderful things he like to ramble on about. He has called platypusses demons, penquins robots made by NASA, and has called Japanese video games weopons of the devil, and he defends all of those claims to the end, ok, he defends them rather stupidly but he still defends them.
Oh, about the nigger tag. It was my intention to get the attention of some racists, to point out to them that we are all the same regardless of color, some racists have legitimate points in their choices for candidates, but you’re right, the blatant bigots, like Jed above, really have nothing to say except for stupid insults against blacks, but even those in a way help my cause because they help illustrate just how stupid racist people can be.

  69. Please do what Doubtfire said. It would be a pleasant change to have new posters, rather than trolls, trollfeeders, and the occasional real post.

  70. I agree with you that skin color shouldn’t have anything to do with your decision. You also said we should vote based on a candidate’s qualifications. Explain to us exactly WHY you think Obama is qualified. Note: The word “hope” cannot be used in your explanation.

  71. Obama is comparable to embarrassing flatulence ……hot air, stinky and it’s origin being obama-shit! Vote for him if you feel guilty cause he’s black….my vote is for McCain because he is experienced and will keep us safe. Oh, and go ahead and compare him to George Bush……..George Bush has kept your ass safe for 8 years and counting……..Not bad if you ask me!

  72. Ron, I guess I’ll start with you here, since your question is very valid, as opposed to the juvenile fart joke posted by an old guy.
But first, I have to tell you that you don’t set the rules for explanations, when I explain something I can use any words I wish, including hope. And second, the word qualifications is your word and one that doesn’t apply to a candidate for the office of president. Nobody is “qualified” to be president unles they already have experience in being president, and sometimes even that doesn’t make you qualified, case in point, George Bush, he’s held the office for two terms and he still isn’t qualified to be a president.
So now let’s get to that word I’m not supposed to use, “Hope”. I hope I’m right about Obama, I hope his plans for the economy will be able to achieve what he wants them to achieve and I hope he is able to end the war in Iraq without the unnecessary loss of any more American lives and redirect our efforts to Afghanistan where they have belonged all along.
I have very carefully gone over both Obama’s and McCain’s policies and plans for the economy and for national security and Obama’s ideas make a lot more sense than McCains. McCains policy would give tax breaks to the very rich which he claims will trickle down to the middle class by boosting the economy and lowering prices. That strategy is what got us to this point in the first place, rather than the trickle down effect that they were supposedly trying for, the top execs got greedy for more and prices continued to climb on everything (most importantly, interest rates on mortgages). Obama’s plan would give tax breaks to the middle and lower class, instead of to the very rich who don’t need any breaks. His hopes are for the economy to rebuild itself from the bottom up instead of the trickle down method that McCains policy aims for, and this makes much more sense. This nations economy got started from the bottom and worked it’s way up to being one of the richest countries in the world, then the trend got reversed and the trickle down economic strategy began which led to the economic crises we’re in now (the same type of policies that led to the crash at the beginning of the depression).
On security. Obama’s plan is to end the war in Iraq as quickly as possible and redirect our attention to Afghanistan and Bin Ladin where it should have been all along. He doesn’t plan to pull out in defeat as McCain claims, but to let the Iraqi military take over as it should have done long ago. He also said that he would meet with foriegn leaders (specifically with Iran) without preconditions to discuss diplomatic alternatives to military actions, McCain called that dangerous. Since when has it been dangerous to try and work things out diplomatically with another country? Whether the other leaders are trustworthy or not, it’s always better to exhaust all diplomatic approaches to a situation with another country before resorting to military action. McCain’s policy on Iran and other countries is to shoot first then discuss it later. He has verbally threatened North Korea with extinction and said that we should invade Iran. He claims he looked into Putin’s eyes and saw the letters K, G, and B. That’s a dangerous statement to make, and combine that with Palin’s silly remark about Putin rearing his head up and coming into Alaska’s boundaries (which has never happened anyway), and you get the makings of a new cold war with Russia, if not an eventual real war with them. McCain has said over and over again during his campaign travels in the primaries and in the general election campaign that “there will be more wars”. There doesn’t need to be more wars, he talks like he wants more wars, his saying things like “I know how to deal with Iran, I’ll take care of Iran” and “I know how to win a war” (even though he’s never actually won one) just emphasises the fact that he wants wars. He even suggested an across the board freeze on government spending except for the military and “other important programs” which he never named but insinuated that those programs were also military related. He said many important programs would have to be cut and though he never specified which ones verbally, he hinted at the fact that those programs would include social security and health insurance, he said this at the debate last night in response to Obama’s statements on improving social security and health insurance while selectively cutting less important and ineffective programs. McCain wants to stay in Iraq indefinately (possibly several more years) and he wants to go to war with Iran and possibly Russia and continue to spend all of our money on wars that don’t necessarily need to happen.
So when you get right down to a reason for voting for one candidate over the other, “hope” is the only word that really applies. We know that neither candidate is qualified to be president because no one is until they’ve actually held the office and ran it successfully. So we can only vote for the one that seems to have the best interest of our country and our citizens in mind and hope that they will do and accomplish what they say they will. In this case, Obama’s plans make more sense and his voting record has been more for our interests where McCain’s voting record has been more in favor of the very rich and the big corporations like oil companies. While both have verbally claimed to support alternative energy sources, McCain has consistently voted against measures to research alternative sources of energy while Obama has consistently voted in favor of it.
While Obama favors finding diplomatic solutions to disagreements with other countries, McCain favors more wars instead.
While Obama remains calm and thoughtful under pressure, McCain loses his temper, gets nervous and reacts rather than thinks. His nervousness was very apparent last night as he paced nervously all through the debate, whether he was speaking or Obama was, he couldn’t stay sat down, he paced and made nervous gestures and avoided eye contact with everyone, his eyes were constantly on the floor not on the audience, that’s not a sign of a good leader, that’s a sign of someone who is afraid that others will see deception in their eyes if they make eye contact. We need a calm thoughtful leader in the Whitehouse, not a nervous hot tempered one.

  73. An old guy, for someone who signs in with the name an old guy, you have a very juvenile approach to politics. The fart reference was unfunny and sounds like it came from a six year old. Why should I feel guilty because he’s black? I don’t feel guilty about much of anything, much less someone being the color they are. I’m voting for Obama simply because he makes more sense.
And I’m not going to compare McCain to anyone, his own words speak for themselves, he’s a warmonger and a very greedy person who aspires to be a dictator, his own words “If I were a dictator, which I’ve always aspired to be”, and he said that in an interview with no sign that he was joking, in fact he looked at the floor and kind of mumbled it. So if you would prefer McCain and the possibility of three more wars started in the first year of his term, then that’s up to you, myself I would prefer the diplomatic approach over the shoot first approach.

  74. EB, I removed the tag, but so far I think the ratio has been pretty good as far as trolls go, we’ve had some, which isn’t unusual, they are everywhere, but overall most of the commenters (even those that disagree) have been fairly thoughtful in their comments. Too bad we don’t have like a troll radar to pick them out as they come in and redirect them back out into cyberspace.

  75. Arn, great post on Obama being the better presidential candidate! You were very clear on every point!

@old guy: Please explain how George Bush has kept us safe…. there are over 4000 young people dead in the war; and bin laden is still around???

  76. this election was about race, more Hispanic and black people voted than in elections past, in fact most places twice as many blacks votes and yes they voted for Obama for no other reason than he was black. At my school we people of color are in the vast majority and many black students were reminding me to vote Obama and when i asked why , they just said because hes a brotha. and they knew nothing of his policies or promises

  77. @ Joe Walker: true, but people of color are only a small percentage of the total population. A vast majority of voters were white people who voted for Obama as well. So it was not *all* just about race.

There will always be people on both sides who vote for the wrong reasons…. – like fascists or subculture anarchists voting against Senator Obama just because they have racist convictions. So you see, it all kind of balances things out.

And don’t be disheartened – there are incredible voters on both sides who are educated and well-informed and care deeply for our country. Like you, and people who write these blogs…. :)

  78. POST DELETED

“It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.”
    -Mark Twain

  79. Arn…. Joe Birch with Halloween spam???

  80. ???

  81. Sure is troll in here. Not to worry, I have a troll-slaying sword. It grants me a +9 admin bonus against people with pointless, asinine posts.

  82. Laughing here! I’d never seen a really bad one like that before (but then I’m still a bit new here).

  83. Evidently you’ve ever been more than knee deep in the Internet. That was mild by what I’ve seen.

  84. And they live among us…. wow!

  85. I love people, I really do. It’s all that’s keeping me from killing them all.

  86. LOL LOL!!!

  87. Good morning everyone. We wake up today with a new president (elect that is). This long hotly contested campaign is now over.
For those who may have missed it, John McCain gave a very good and inspiring speech last night, for the first time since the beginning of the race I felt like he really did have the ability to reach across the isle and work together with the Democrats. Not only did he say that he would support and work with President Obama, but he had a sincerity to him that he has been missing during the last couple months of campaigning. To tell the truth I was expecting to see him looking bitter after the results came in, but he surprised me, he conceeded the race last night with dignity and with a promise to stand behind our new President. He’s a much better man than I gave him credit for, and it showed last night. Had this campaign been run without all of the smear ads (from either side) and hateful accusations I feel this would have been a much closer election.

EB, thanks for being on top of things with the trolls. Being on the East coast I went to bed earlier than people out west, so I expected to see a lot of troll posts this morning. I did get rid of several spam comments this morning though. We could almost make a fortune advertising insurance here, lol.

    Shykitte,
“Arn…. Joe Birch with Halloween spam???”

I don’t understand that comment, did I miss something? There was a Birch in the spam folder this morning with a long story about blacks beating up white girls,, did he post the same thing earlier too?

Just 72 days until we come to the end of an error (Bush). Of course I’m happy that Obama won, but had it gone differently and McCain won, I would still be happy, watching him last night I saw a much better man than George Bush ever was, so no matter who won, this country would be in better hands than before. If McCain had showed the side of himself that we saw last night throughout this campaign, he may have won this election.

Anyway, this was a wonderful ending to a long hard and often bitter campaign. I feel like all of my energy just drained out onto the floor, I’ve spent all of my time and energy the past few months campaigning for Obama and travelling around the Northeast to attend rallies and do canvassing work, now I feel like I could just sleep for 72 days and wake up to a morning without George Bush.

    • CPDog: Yes, McCain’s speech sounded real good. But, as is McCain’s habit, he was lying.
Here we are in May 2010 and good ol’ John is doing what he and all his Repuglican buddies are so good at. Nothing constructive, just whatever they can to put the screws to anything the President wants to do for the betterment of the country. You’re a poor judge of character, and, it seems, easily impressed. They love people like you.

  88. I would love somebody to tell me 10 major contributions the Black has made to Society in the last 2000 years….I am struggling to think of anything…as for Obama…are you serious that this was the best candidate in America for President!?!?….even Henry Kissinger is a better candidate in so far as brains and experience. America is definitely at its lowest point in history…a [black man] in the whitehouse …what a joke.

BLOG PATROL SAYS: Keep those kinds of racial slurs to yourself. I am sure your question will be answered in length, but post another racial slur like that and you will be deleted and banned. We gladly accept any and all criticism to anything we say, but we will not tolerate any blatant slurs against any race. We see everyone as human, don’t put yourself below that level.

EB NOTE: Sure, I’ll feed the troll.
Cell phones, Air conditioning, peanut butter, lawn sprinklers, pencil sharpeners, jazz, clothes dryers, turn signals, automatic traffic signs, and refrigerated trucks.
Now please leave our peaceful blog, and don’t come back until you have something worth posting.

  89. we wont have to worry long because he will have the terrorist taking over asap. All the afraican mf’s was looking at is that hes black and so are they. Now there gonna think that they are in charge. NOT for me. I hate them

BLOG PATROL SAYS: I’m sure you do, but this site is for intelligent discussion, take your hate to a hate site.

  90. “Not only did he say that he would support and work with President Obama, but he had sincerity to him that he has been missing during the last couple months of campaigning.

…McCain won, I would still be happy, watching him last night I saw a much better man than George Bush ever was, so no matter who won, this country would be in better hands than before. If McCain had showed the side of himself that we saw last night throughout this campaign, he may have won this election.”

You said exactly what everyone’s been talking about after we saw McCain’s speech last night. It reminded us of the real McCain that we liked so much before the presidential campaign. Of course, being a staunch Democrat, I’m happy about the results, but still think that it was a pity about people not seeing that side of McCain during the campaign. It would have been a better/fairer fight and less of a landslide election I think.

    “Shykitte,
“Arn…. Joe Birch with Halloween spam???”

I don’t understand that comment, did I miss something? There was a Birch in the spam folder this morning with a long story about blacks beating up white girls,, did he post the same thing earlier too?”

Yes there were several; and a particularly vicious one that struck me blind…..(not the one you mentioned) but EB came in with his trusty “troll-slaying sword” and killed the post! :)

  91. “no matter who won, this country would be in better hands than before.”
Exactly what I felt. I just think Obama’s plans would be better implicated during brighter days, rather than the slump we’re in now.

“If McCain had showed the side of himself that we saw last night throughout this campaign, he may have won this election.”
McCain’s fatal flaw was his low profile campaign. Look at how Obama and his supporters got the word out. Media like you wouldn’t believe. McCain seemed to abandon the young vote almost immediately, and that doomed him.
I noticed around my campus that a lot of my fellow students had a lot of false assumptions and misconceptions about McCain that a better advertising campaign would have easily remedied. Most McCain ads I saw were attacks on Obama, and those are only going to be believed by the swing voters and his own supporters.
If he comes back in 4 years, I’ll vote for him again. I hope he’ll have learned from his mistakes. And while he’s at it, get a better running mate. As far as moose are concerned, Teddy Roosevelt was way better.

“I feel like all of my energy just drained out onto the floor, I’ve spent all of my time and energy the past few months campaigning for Obama and travelling around the Northeast to attend rallies and do canvassing work”
Take a rest. To the victor go the spoils.

    • Elephant Bones: It’s May 2010 and reading your comments has been great fun. McCain has, since the time Obama arrived at the Whitehouse, done everything he can to stick a knife in the back of the Administration, and now is trying to backpedal on his support for the idiotic “immigration” law just signed in his home state. He was, is, and always will be, a fraud.

  92. His election, definately a protest vote……Jesus H though…with that jacked up Bush Administration in place for 8 years (and people dumb enough to vote him into a second term)….what else could one expect but a protest vote….Racist or what??? It is easy to call people that did not vote for him as racist…but come on! This guy is the racist! Look at this background and the group(s), people he has associated with…How can traditional valued Americans who have good morality and self-respect vote for Obama? They couldn’t…and that is exactly who did vote for him the totally disgruntled with the administation don’t give a crap bunch of people, the blacks and other minorities who voted for him based on color and “HOPE”, and the anti-white groups of color. I guarantee you that people who came from a good ethical/moral upbringing were not voting for this clown who is ashamed of being an American and is more racist than anyone! Let’s face it the country is not screwed up…it is the people in it!

    • Layne: You must be one of the “KoolAid” company’s best customers. You’ll believe anything, and question nothing that you read/hear.
Today is May 7/2010 and what you wrote back in ’08 really makes you sound like the class dope. Better luck next time.

  93. {comment deleted }

In the future remember that we welcome critcism, but blatant bigotry will not get posted here.

  94. I just like the title of the article, it says it all. No need for the paragraphs that follow, just put the title out there, put it on bumper stickers and everywhere you can. G. Washington is rolling over in his grave. Hmm, lets see here, according to the Jun 21st issue of the Chicago Tribune, 95% of inter-racial violent crime, i.e. white on black or black on white, is black on white. That means that out of 100 violent interracial crimes, 95 of them are blacks attacking whites. Explain that one.

  95. Oh yeah just about ever black voted for obama because of his skin yet you only talk of the whites doing it,typical

Obama is no different from the rest of them the only “change” is in your head.

And woman can be just as power hungry even more so because they usually have less than men so go nuts when they get it,Hillary only cares about two things being the first female president though she is less bothered by that now obama came along and trumped her bigger shock multi racial being in a white house than a woman, and POWER

  96. A fucking nigger in the White House!?
    Ha !
This country has become a JOKE !!!!!!!!!!
The entire world is laughing …
Nothing more, nothing less, just a goddamn JOKE!

  97. The Nigger didn’t do shit did he now?? Fucken black bastard

  98. @Chris and Joe… (above)

And the two of you think that people are not laughing at your idiotic comments???

Grow Up – being racist went out of fashion a couple of decades ago. Now racists are just considered brainless idiots by the rest of the educated, intelligent world.

    And just for the record……
Somewhere somehow, people seem to blithely forget that Pres Obama is not just black, he is half white also.

    • shykitte: One of the “unintended consequences” of the advances in modern medicine is that people like Chris and Joe wiil be around to spew their hatred much longer than any of us bargained for.

  99. nigger nigger porch monkey jigaboo

  100. jb: Just read your post, and all I can say is: idiot!!

  101. I dont want niggers in the country let alone the white house. This guy is a pure nigger parasite too.

  102. You dumb ignorant crackers blacks votes 95% Democrat always ,95% voted for Kerry,Gore and Clinton.

  103. [...] country; the I-want-to-take-my-country-back, she’s-taking-away-my-dessert, and just flat out racist faction. But I [...]

  104. I’m not racist and I see Obama as a white guy actually but all in all there’s a different between “black man and nigger”…I know a few black men and I know a whole lot more niggers…Obama is a white guy with black skin trying to be as black and welfare as he can and thinks like a low class person and yes I do classify him as a nigger…

  105. why are we allowing niggres too run our lives

  106. Hilarious! I really like these.

  107. Hmm seems you were wrong.
